Yesterday during a girls varsity game, I had a player stop me as I was moving to administer a baseline throw in. She said, "Wait, my bra came loose." While I was processing what she said, she ducked between me and the wall, said "Don't move," and - I'm told - proceeded to lift her shirt and rehook it. I couldn't direct her to the bench because I didn't dare turn around. All the while, her teammates were shouting, "We can see you!" and "You don't even need one!"

I couldn't blow my whistle before the throw in because I was laughing too hard.

Sounds like she needed Juulie's "encapsulated" bra!

Stan, thanks to all the good information you receive from this forum, you could have suggested that to her!

Varsity!?!? Merciful Heavens! I suppose it wasn't the favorite to win state this year. From now on, I guess you should be carrying one of those cool striped beach cabanas!!

When I was still in Canada, I once gave an approx.15 min. t/o to the team with only 5 players, because one lady needs to breat feed her bady.

Sorry, wrong spelling: it should read: breast feed her baby

The closest I've come to this (the bra incident, not the breast feeding  ) was when a girl of African American descent lost her hair weave in the middle of the lane while jumping for a rebound. She didn't realize it and after the action had moved to the other end of the court, her teammates pointed at the furry object on the court, laughing hysterically. I have to admit, I smiled, too. Poor thing was embarrassed, tho.

Hmmm...maybe it's because you live north of the Milford-Albany line but it's been my experience that something described as a "furry object" does not quite fit in with the topic at hand...errr...under discussion.

I was a weekend tournament in Minnesota walking out to inbound the ball after the period break. A middle school girl asks me (she's on the blue team) who was getting the ball. I of course respond, "blue ball". She proceeds to tell me how much she loves blue balls for the entire walk to inbound the ball, they're her favorite and so on. I pretty much laughed myself through the entire quarter.

This happened to me last year as well. Thought a damn squirrel had got into the gym. :)
