Virginia - Purdue video request

5:49 left in the first half.
Tony P calls out of bounds on the end line from a rebound. Bo B comes in and offers help. The original call is changed. Looks like the original call was correct.

I don't offer help if the contested touch occurs directly in front of my partner.

Out of bounds decisions are my toughest plays.

A lot of these plays are tough. We do not get slow-motion replay to know we got them right or wrong.

Peace

Two minutes left. Non-call at the top of the arc with VA on offense.
Anyone have a team control foul there for a push-off to get open?

With twenty seconds left, it appears that the Purdue rebounder travels after grabbing the offensive board.
Seems that his pivot foot was up in the air before he started a dribble.

If is the play I am thinking of, no. It sure looked suspect. Upon my slow-mo replay, it looked like a flop...or at least an embellishment.

Granted I only saw it live, but it also looked like the covering official was starting to turn to punch it, but almost looked like he spit his whistle out or something? It was an odd action on a play that looked like if anything there was on offensive foul possibility. Don't know if there is another angle that might show that official the entire time during the sequence as well.

I guess if you come in and change your partner's call like this, you can advance to the FF.
