Vid works but what is question? There is more than one "play". With which should we be concerned?

There is a hook-and-hold by the Blue cutter in the paint that the Lead misses while he is rotating. The old Trail/new Center sees the culmination of the action but luckily doesn't make a call b/c by the time he sees the play it appears the defense has committed a foul. You can see the new Center addressing the 2 players.

Unrelated, I loathe how the Lead finishes his rotation. He does the outdated turn-and-backpedal method (referred to as "moonwalking" by one of my up-and-coming colleagues) when he reaches the far lane line. Leads need to rotate with shoulders open to the court and not turn until he has reached the spot you want to stop at.

Yea, looks as if there is something there. Raymond hit most of the points. Maybe C got caught ball watching initially. Indeed, L may have missed defensive foul as offensive player cut through the lane. I do not think, again with poor angle on video, that this is a hook/hold. Sure, they may have gotten tangled but I do not see it as a hook/hold flagrant as in NCAAM.

Out of curiosity, when did this information start making the rounds at camps? I'm pretty sure I'm a moonwalker and no one has ever mentioned this to me. Last camp was about 20 months ago.

The technique makes perfect sense. Thanks, Raymond. That's something I'll work to correct this summer.

Actually I started working it on my own some time last season. I was just looking at ways to make my rotation look smoother. And since then I found out that a lot of NBA folks say the same thing.

When you wished that we had a monitor, I thought you wished this Forum had adult supervision and I was going to agree with you, .
