Alternatives to Reebok Zig Energy Ref

Been a big fan of the Reebok Zig Energy Ref. Looking around, it looks like they may have been discontinued. Is this true, and if so, what have previous users of this shoe switched to? Looking for some recommendations.

I take a 15. In and of itself that limits what’s available.

You can look at Hoka Biondi 6. Light shoe. Looks different but feels really good. 5 mm drop. Brooks Ghost 11 has good all black shoe.

An Ordinary Shoe Question

In my experience, I can only ever find the Ref Zigs before the season, like in August and maybe September (in limited sizes by then). It seems they only make them for the preseason gear-up period and then afterwards you can't find them until next year.

I looked at the Hoka Bondis last year, primarily because of the cushioning, but, if I recall correctly, they were not available in anything but a D/regular width. I see that they are now offered in EE, and, crosscountry55, the website does show a size 15.

I retired my Zigs this year and went with a Nike Epic React Flyknit Running Shoe. So far, I love them.

Went from Zigs to Nike Air Max 2017. No complaints and I am pretty picky about my footwear.

I went from the zigs to the Brooks Adrenaline. I wear 14's and have wider feet, and they fit me just fine. Extremely comfortable, and have been wearing them for a few years now. You can typically get last year's model for around $90, or the new ones run about $120.

I picked up a pair of all black Nike Air Huarache for $49! The price was too good not to get them. I also just bought a pair of Air Max 270s that I'm going to run in for tonight's game. I put comfort over the high shine look.

Worked a GJV game last night....The Air Max 270s felt great! Light and had some bounce to them. Great shoe for me!
