It’s a spin move in the same spot, which means, because human ankles aren’t on ball bearings, that both feet moved in the process.
The trick for the official is determining when the dribble ends. In the OP, in real time, I’m not 100% sure, so I’m not calling it. Upon video review, however, it was a travel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The first clip in real time had a bad angle, so it was hard to tell.
The two slow motion clips with a different angle showed what looks like the post player establishing his left foot as the pivot foot followed by dragging it after he steps with the right foot prior to his first dribble. Easy to see a travel in slow motion but in real time, this could be very tricky to see - even looking right at it. |
A travel it was but a travel easily seen it wasn't.
