With 3:46 remaining in first half, offensive player called for a kicking violation from ref far away right in front of primary ref. It did not appear to be intentional and it was odd to be called in front of another ref.

It was an accidental kick AND it happened directly in front of the Trail. Center had no business even looking over there, and definitely should not have been looking to blow his whistle.
