Neat Tucks or Flex Belt (or other)?

In the interest of not looking like a slob this season, I'm debating between these two. Any input from the peanut gallery here on what you use to keep your shirt tucked in?

We're Rebels I Tell You, Rebels ...

Wear a black belt on your slacks, but only if you want to look like a dork, like me.

Actually, this sign may no longer be valid for the entire State, IAABO International no longer allows belts. My local Connecticut board (not sure about the other five local boards, probably not) wrote an exception into our local Constitution (proper uniform) to allow such. We're rebels I tell you, rebels. Dorky rebels, but still rebels.

How About Black Suspenders ???

Why do firemen wear red suspenders?

To hold their pants up.

Super Tucks

I have a pair of these and have just about worn them out (which stinks because they're not being made anymore). I much prefer them, or suspender-like stays, that latch onto the bottom of the shirt and top of the sock.

I have never seen the benefits of a flex belt. This thing moves and often does not hold your shirt in place. I think I used the Flex belt once and basically threw it away. Tucking my pants in my UnderArmor was better than the flex belt.

I have used the Neat Tuck Active for a year and never had my shirt move. It took some getting used to at first because you did not know where to put the clips or how far to move the straps down, but I would not go back. One of the best accessory items for officiating I have ever purchased.

Peace

It is not for your pants. It is for your shirt. But you knew that right?

What shirt?

I bet that you guys didn't know that I'm a member of my hometown's volunteer fire department. I hope that my company captain doesn't see this photo of me out of uniform. If so, he may penalize me by not letting me ride on the back end of the hook and ladder truck. It's true. It's true.

I wear Shirt-stays for to keep my shirt tucked and neat, I wear flex belts to keep my pants from falling and moving around.

I like the Ultimate Belt myself. It keeps the shirt in place.

Where do YOU put the clips, and how far down do YOU put the straps? I was leaning toward the Neat Tuck, but have only ever had one partner with them, so pardon the overly personal questions if they come off that way.

I put them above the stitching on the shirt. Kind of front part of the shirt but somewhat on the side. Again this is a personal preference where they fit the best. They do take a small time to get used to the fact you have these things on legs. But these things are the best.

I just did not think I would like the stirrups that you put your feet through or the ones that fit on your socks.

Peace

People really have difficulty keeping their shirts tucked? Hmmm.. must not apply to weirdos like me. Have never had an issue with a shirt not staying tucked in my life, except for that one pickup game in the parking lot after my wedding.

Anyway... maybe tuck them in your underwear/tights/compression shorts. Forget visible belts of any kind. Do not wear suspenders as they pose a saftey hazard. Some player might grab you although you could wear the break-away- ones, lol.

I use Neat Tucks also and I love them. I tried them after JRut mentioned them last season - I had never heard of them before that. It took some time to get the hang of fastening the clips onto the shirt, but once you figure it out, that’s it. I haven’t had any issues with them all through the spring or summer. They work great because you can wear them with shorts or pants. My shirt stays tightly tucked always.

Tucked them into my compression pants for years, but still, the fabric would move or adjust. Neat Tuck for me solved that issue completely.

Peace
