The 2013-2015 Officials Manual says that these types of "Help" situations should be discussed thoroughly during the crew's pregame conference.

P45 2.5.4 B. Crew Communication During the Contest.

And that still does not give a definitive answer to what exactly you do or what "help" means, which again is something you will have to do based on your area, level or training.

Peace

I guess I don't see a problem. I will make sure my crew is on the same page before the game starts and we will handle the situation as discussed.

I didn't say there was a problem, but there are multiple philosophies about how you "help" on an out of bounds call. So you might have to go with what is acceptable to your partners or maybe the area you officiate. The book only allows for there to be help. The book does not get specific as to what procedure you actually follow.

I can't read the NFHS citation (no NFHS Manual available to me) but it sounds very similar to the IAABO Manual, including lacking a specific procedure (as stated by JRutledge).

IAABO Mechanic Violations: Officials may seek help or offer help to ensure accurate rulings.
