Is this the play on saw discussed somewhere in which the Trail gets ahead of the play and misses action that happens behind him?

Thanks for inquiring about the Throw-in play. I thought I saw the K-State player bounce the ball on the boundary line, catch it then pass it. No one is applying pressure. Trail official (G.P.?) is about 5-10 feet off the endline.

I am of the opinion that the thrower violated by bouncing the ball inbounds prior to the throw-in pass. The Trail was moving up the court inbounds and didn't see this happen behind him.
I recall a directive a few years ago to remain out of bounds on the endline and observe the throw-in.

The official must have assumed nothing bad was going to happen and just started to move up court.:eek:
