Why is Trae Young being allowed to lead with his off-hand and initiate contact with the defender once he crosses half-court? Three minutes into the game and he's done it 3-4 times already.

One example is 15:58 mark.

Zoochy Thu Mar 15, 2018 11:47am

He just got called for an Offensive 'Push off' foul

I see this tried often and it hardly creates space. When it does, it seems to get called. Seen it called all year but not every attempt when the attempt is very minimal at best.

Cuz the offense is not subject to the same handcheck rules as the defense.

Loyola vs. Miami, FL 12:51 (roughly) in second half. Player control on Loyola player off a pass.

Rich Thu Mar 15, 2018 04:22pm

Loyola/Miami - 13.7 seconds remaining. No call on putback after offensive rebound.

mtn335 Thu Mar 15, 2018 04:45pm

If you're able, Gonzaga-UNCG, blocking foul on Alonso with 1:21 left 2nd. Thank you!!

Raymond Thu Mar 15, 2018 05:56pm

Oklahoma vs. Rhode Island

Oklahoma versus Rhode Island. 3:42 Mark of overtime.

What do you have for a pivot foot for Trae Young dribble in transition before passing the ball?

Also in Gonzaga-UNCG, the push-off TC foul with 0:17 to go would be amazing to have... Thanks!

AremRed Thu Mar 15, 2018 06:43pm

I didn’t see it but friend told me about it, foul on three point shooter, and 1, 1:20 remaining, Ohio State vs. UNCG.

Raymond Fri Mar 16, 2018 08:40am

Alabama vs. Virginia Tech

'Bama vs. VA Tech

At the 0:48 mark of 2nd half, VT is called for a PC foul and HC gets T'd up.

Haven't seen the play, reading about it in the local news.

So glad to see people follow instructions. :D

Seton Hall vs. Kansas, 6.2 seconds left in the second half. Illegal screen by Seton Hall player. Looked to be set so I'm not sure what the official saw that made it illegal.

this call was embarrassingly bad, there was nothing there, big moment late in the game too.

15:39 2nd half, Florida vs. Texas Tech. Double whistle, trail has violation, center has foul.

That was a great call. The defender was pulling on the ball handler's arm and made him lose balance and travel.

Wrong, player was not falling back then , he was falling back when defender had both arms up and was pulling the chair on the post, that was what called the travel. The official calling the foul thought he saw something that he didn't see,

And you know this because you spoke to the official? Again another poster who posts something with the intent that everybody just agree with him.

He may have stumbled and fallen after the arms were up, but the pull was definitely and obviously there. It disrupted his balance since he couldn't recover from it and subsequently fell. The official saw the whole play...how it started all the way to how it finished. That is the epitome of SDF.

Raymond Sat Mar 24, 2018 11:40am

Bumping thread to see if Jeff can find any of these plays.

Looked worse from the sideline. From the backcourt? Eh.

I could not find any of these games at this time. I will try to catch the replays of each of these games and post them later (If I still have a page ).

All these games got deleted by my not paying attention to the settings. This is my fault but it took some time to know what games were exactly deleted.

Peace

Agree. Shouldn't not have been a foul...screen was legal.
