Intentional foul?
Kids game today. Game getting a little testy, but it is March madness playoffs. Immediately after made basket by white, a green player pushes a white player out of the way, but in doing so, he gets his fingers into the white players throat and actually snaps the the kids neck back a little. Normally I would let it go, but a push to the throat, had to call something.
This would be intentional foul, wouldn't it? Because the ball was actually dead at the time of the foul. |
It needs to be a type of foul that can only be called when the ball is dead.

It could be an Intentional Technical but it cannot be an Intentional Personal.

Has to be intentional technical foul or ruled incidental contact. Division line throw in after the two free throws.

Called my first Intentional Foul and-1 yesterday. Late game, team down was trying to take a foul on an inbounds play. Dribbler got past initial attempt and defender grabbed fistful of jersey from behind during ensuing layup. Count it, two shots and the ball, pretty much game over. Explained it to coach, he was surprising accepting.
