Running Clock (Not Mercy Rule)
I do some weekend games with two 20-minute halves, running clock. The local rules are silent on this issue - when, if ever, to stop the clock:
-Injury -Tying shoelaces -Any extended discussion with the table Inevitably, after a few seconds of any of the above, people start yelling to stop the clock - just wondering what everybody's experience is for this situation? |

Completely local rules. Unless they give you some guideline, you do whatever you wish. I am not stopping the clock for anything other than an extended injury or a timeout (even official timeout). Otherwise the clock all the time during play.

No official guidance here, however, some refs stop the clock on FTs with less than a minute.
