Looked like a good block to me

Ball goes toward and into the glass after the swat, so it’s not a tie. I think that’s the only time it hits glass. Good block.

Note I was just asking the question. I think it's close and a hard decision, but thinks he got ball then ball got board.

Close call...but it was hit before it hit the backboard.
I don't like who called it. He had the worst angle of the C/T for making that decision. It was basically like making a foul call from a straightlined position. |

Agree it’s just about 50/50. But I think ^this is a fair critique. Not easy to sit on this kind of call, but the book says the official on the other side has primary on this call and this is one of the reasons why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The call was right. The ball just hit the board then blocked, you have to go super slo mo. Either way tie goes to the offense. The defenders action after the call was bs IMO.
In HS its a clean block. |
I find it hard to nitpick these.
It's close, the official got a look, he made a decision. |

This is one of the reasons I don't like the college aspect of the rule that once it hits the board it is off limits. It can be so difficult to judge. I prefer the high school rule that if it is still going up then it is fair game.
