1. Blocking foul. Defender's legs were clearly wider than his shoulders. Contact with his leg is what created the foul.
On the subsequent free throws, the shooter (barely) violated on the first shot, and clearly violated on the second shot with his foot touching in the lane before the ball hit the rim. 2. Foul, after the release of the ball, but still a foul on an airborne shooter before he returned to the floor. |
1. Clear defensive foul. Indeed, clear violation by shooter on both free throws.
2. I could not determine a foul. |
1. Good call. As for the free throws, go ahead and make a violation call there in your game in a similar scenario, but promise me you’ll let me know what your assigner says afterwards cuz I wanna know.
2. One of those fouls on an airborne shooter that seems to get called on the perimeter where it might not be on the inside. That editorial notwithstanding, the video wasn’t conclusive for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
1. Good call. I don't know why anyone would call either of those free throws a violation.
2. Another good call. Seems clear to me on the 2nd angle from the backcourt. |

I don't work anything close to D1 basketball on TV but I would be supported calling those violations on the free throws in the first video.
