These do not have a specific game or tournament.

They had their pick....

Looks like the other official had a foul on #5. They both had a whistle, and he was not looking at #2. Clearly they had some indication the jump would have rough play.
Question... don't know NCAA-M rules, could they report both fouls or did they need to pick?

They were right if it were the NBA....

Play 1: Simultaneous foul situation, I would report both fouls each official had.

Play 2: CC

Then get hired by the NBA coverage and then you can talk about those rules. ;)

It does point out that we will be challenged.... because we have three separate rule books, four if you include FIBA often they idiot fans, many coaches will have the Rule right but be in the wrong venue.

There have been many a night that I have told a coach they were right if we were in one of the 30 arenas where they used that rule...

It points out as you did so well we have to know the right rules

There were at least 3 elbows that could've had fouls put on them. I do think they got the most severe of these.

+1. I’ll bet my dinner they talked about this in pre-game. Even the announcers were aware of the tactic. Good get.

One thing I noticed mechanically was that the U1 and U2 were very close to the division line. I thought home position was the 28-foot line. Is this a difference from NFHS mechanics?

Nope, positioning is the same. Pretty sure they are just moving to have an angle on what they anticipate is about to happen.
