Your table is going to get a lot more complicated.
Some, Oregon included, pay different rates depending on the Classification. And to be a fair comparison, you have to include travel. Some states pay travel, some don't but pay a somewhat higher game fee. Some states pay one rate for a single game or the first game in a double header and a lessor amount for the second game.

South Carolina is still paying travel. All varsity games are 3-man.
One game (rare): $55 Two games: $78 $0.45 per mile with a minimum travel fee of $9. So if you work two varsity games the minimum you would gross is $87. |

Most states there is a set fee assigned by the state association for contests at each level. States like Iowa it is done per district and there are even a few states that the schools negotiate with each ref (contractor) individually. Obviously mileage/travel is a moving target, but I tried to capture the most information with not too much clutter (3-man lower level is rare and can probably be ignored). |

In Virginia fees are negotiated by association commissioners. These contracts can either be with individual schools (usually private schools) or entire conferences.

Is there a range or average from what you have seen?

It's actually been as high as $75 for a Varsity game in my local area and came down to accommodate 3-man for Girls games. I'm on 2 boards and the range is about $60-65 per Varsity game. I'm thinking those rates would be much hire in Northern VA near and within the Beltway.

Around Roanoke (2015): Varsity 3-man: $87 JV 2-Man: $65 MS 3-Man: $65 NoVA (Current): Varsity 3-man: $91 is the highest for private schools, $72-$85 for public Varsity 2-man: $75 JV 2-man: $65 average Note that there is another association in Nothern VA, so their rates may differ. I'd say the average is somewhere around $75. |

I can't speak for PA--it's a big state!--but in the two SE PA (in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia) leagues I work, I get $60 and $66 for 2-ref jv games, so your PA figures are low. Although I am not certain, but I think that varsity refs, working 3-ref, get $72 and $75. No mileage.
