FIBA's basketball rulling about travel

i need to know if i'm starting my lay up by dribbling the ball then jump while not holding the ball "like faking a lay up" then hold the ball while i'm in the air then do 2 steps and score will it be considered a travel or some kind of foul ?

If you jump before you catch the dribble you can legally come with with one foot followed by the other in all codes. Some allow even more foot movement.
