The biggest fear I would have is her getting bored. Hell, she's going to spend 9 years at the varsity level.

yes, but I would have felt like calling only one of them....and may not have called it either.

Didn't know it was an option for a grade schooler or jr high player to play on a high school team. don't think its an option here...

In some states (maybe Massachusetts in the olden days) it depends on if the high school, and middle (or intermediate) school grades, share one common building (maybe one gymnasium, one cafeteria, one library, one auditorium, etc.), usually in lightly populated suburban, and rural areas.

Not sure how she was "dominating before" but that article indicates she's a 7th grader playing varsity and dropping 12 points. Dominating, perhaps not. Above average, probably.
