How long is the shot clock is HS? And when does it reset? On the release, like FIBA, or once the ball hits the rim, like NBA?

No shot clock

There is not shot clock in the National Federation. There might be some states that have adopted a shot clock, but the most of us do not have one in our states. Only college and NBA and FIBA games have the shot clock as apart of their games.

Hello,

California is one of the states that have adopted the shot clock.

For mens HS basket ball the shot clock is 35 sec, and for the women it is 30 sec.

The clock is reset:
1. When it hits the rim.
2. On a foul.
3. On a kick ball.
4. On a change of possession
5. On a jump ball, when the defense team have the alternate possession arrow.
