I don't have a foul on either play. Not enough contact on either play. Could one be called one on play 1? Yes. I don't though

Nothing.
Nothing.

Officiating guys is hard enough, but girls is nearly impossible.

Play 1: Definitely a foul. I don't allow players to dive and take out another player's legs, no matter how slight the contact.

Play 2: I would pass on this.

I was wondering why you are the first to make that statement on play #1. Without question I feel that was a foul. She absolutely took her legs out and knocked the player down. That has to be a foul.

The second play I think I would pass on this too. I think momentum played more of a role on this situation.

Peace

I agree with your statement about not letting another player takes somebody's legs out. I guess I'm just not sure if she really did take her legs out.

Play 2: I would have called this in a 3rd grade game.

#1...foul. The contact prevented her from getting the ball.

#2...nothing. Slight contact that did not cause that reaction. Defender just couldn't stop her own momentum.

I shouldnt look at the slo motion. May sound weird but i see things at full speed and when i look at slo mo it, at times, talks me out of what i see in regular speed. Slo mo isnt always helpful to me. Does that make any sense?

Play 1 is a foul to me in regular speed. Slo mo makes me wonder if she really cut her legs out.... It's hard being a rocket scientist...
