Fashion Police- Sweet 16 Style

Watching the Xavier-Arizona game, and Xavier #55 has a long sleeve undershirt on. Whats up with that? If we need to enforce headband color restrictions because they apparently have some sort of relevance to the game, then shouldn't he be disallowed from wearing that shirt?

NCAA-M, Rule 1.23 Art. 1: "... Both sleeves shall be of the same length and not extend beyond the elbows."

And for the record, while I do enforce uniform rules, I'm not a big fan, so I'm not trying to make a fuss that his shirt should be disallowed, rather, is it being allowed all season or just this tourney, or what?

Xavier has a medical exemption from the NCAA allowing him to wear a long sleeve shirt.

In these games, at this point in the season, you can assume that the required waiver is in place.

Even at the D3 level, they have letters from Art Hyland authorizing the wear.

Apparently, not true during the postseason at the high school level in Maryland. ;)

Yeah, I was thinking that when I wrote. I expect more from college staffs and officials during the regular season.
