NCAA Tournament Video Requests - Friday March 17

Let me start this already. Again all requests here, not in their own thread. Easier to find.

CBS
Jacksonville St v Louisville
16:01 of first half
Jacksonville St end line throw-in bounces out of bounds on the pass.
You don't see this violation often.

Two Plays

TNT
Seton Hall v Arkansas
24.6 seconds remaining, team with the ball down one.
Travel or not? Would you call it?

Ensuing possession:
Does Ark travel in the backcourt and then with 18.3 seconds left
a Flagrant 1 is called in the frontcourt

OKREF Fri Mar 17, 2017 02:37pm

Arkansas-Seton Hall.

18.3 left in 2nd half FF1 on Seton Hall

AremRed Fri Mar 17, 2017 02:39pm

Nevada, did you see that 5-second violation by Jacksonville State? Looked like the Slot official in bench of the table had a whistle as well....possibly for a timeout?

It looks like the Arkansas player did travel as well

Seton Hall vs Arkansas -- 18.3 seconds left. Seton Hall down by 1, player gets beaten by Arkansas dribbler, pushes opponent with two hands in attempt to foul. Officials ruled F1 after going to the monitor. Great call in a high-pressure situation.

Nevadaref Fri Mar 17, 2017 02:57pm

TruTV
SMU v USC
3:57 left in first half
Is the airborne player scoring a basket undercut by a defender walking under him? Defender moving towards shooter?

Nope, must have been focused on one of the other games at that time.

Creighton URI just before half (0:03 maybe?) on TBS. Was watching at work so I didn't get a good look, but dribble in the front court then step into the back court?

Wow, not sure how you don't have a foul there. Defender does not maintain verticality and makes contact with the shooter.

I think the lead got straightlined (from where he's standing, the shooter is blocking the view of the defender), so he couldn't see the contact. C didn't have a great angle either.

Trail might've been able to see it, but it'd be a hard sell coming from the trail.

T has on ball coverage, which becomes a double team. L is watching ball too because of the double team. When pass is made, L now turns to look but it is too late for him to referee the defender. C had 2 defenders to watch and one left. C should have closed down and in and gotten this call. After made basket, C takes off. IMO, this is a great example where C needs to be closed down and maybe one step on the court when there is generally no action in front of them. It was a strange play that gets catches the crew in a late-look situation. C has got to come get this. L could have gotten it late but probably did not feel comfortable in possibly guessing. This is a foul and if called, no one is complaining.
