First Four Plays: Tuesday
KSU vs. WF. Tru TV (as if you didn't know). 3:30 1st Half.
I think I caught a last to touch-first to touch Backcourt Violation that was not called. Rotation had just completed so it caught new T by surprise and C, who was proximally closer, couldn't go officiate it in time. Since we love backcourt violation breakdowns on this forum, I thought I would take the honor of mentioning the first one of the 2017 dance. ;) |
KSt/WF 1:43 left in the 2nd half. Missed foul followed by a FF1. Should generate some disucssion.

Guys, I am getting an issue with one of the videos from YouTube.
It appears that they are trying to make an issue out of copyright issues for the FF video. So if it cannot be seen, that might be the reason. I filed a dispute of this claim as I almost never use the entire video and edit it for officiating purposes. So if this becomes a problem I will let you all know. I think this is the NCAA doing this more than anyone. I had this issue last year. Peace |

Yes, this was a backcourt violation. We know that the T has primary responsibility for backcourt violations, but I saw at the start of the video was that the L and T were opposite table, the L was initiating a rotation just as the defense initially tapped the ball away from the ball handler toward the division line. This then caused the crew to not be in the best position to see a backcourt violation. MTD, Sr. |
