It can be corrected within the parameters of the correctable error rule (erroneously counting or canceling a score, if error is made while the clock is running and the ball dead, it must be recognized by an official before the second live ball, if an error is corrected, play shall be resumed from the point of interruption to rectify the error).

It IS a correctable error...made while clock running. It MUST be corrected before second live ball.

No later than during the first dead ball after the clock has properly started. Minor but important distinction.

You could have a second live ball, and a third, and a fourth, and so on, and still be within the CE window.

Who is the person giving the breakdown of the video?

Not sure, but it's good. He's right about officials giving up open looks. What I've also noticed watching HS film this year is officials not using their feet to get open looks. The home base starting spot ends up being where they work, especially outside.

This error was made while the clock was running. It MUST be corrected before second live ball.

2-10-3. Gotcha.

A bookkeeping error doesn't have to be corrected immediately, either.

Window For "Correction" ...

It doesn't, but, as I stated, this is not a bookkeeping error that can be "corrected" until the jurisdiction of the officials ends (leave the visual confines of the court). As a correctable error, it doesn't have to be corrected immediately, but unlike a bookkeeping error, there is a much smaller window for correction.
