Big 12 Tournament plays (Video and Requests)
Play #1:
I'm surprised no one asked about this play. I saw this in a hotel this afternoon. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/SpEQVBBp_fc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Peace |
W11 received nothing but actually committed two dead ball contact technicals. In the initial action after the held ball he makes contact with his elbow to the defender's face. Then he shoved defender.

The monitor can't tell you what someone may have said, so in the end I think there are just two CDBTs in succession.
In NFHS this would be a false double foul, administer order of occurrence. I thought for FDFs involving CDBTs or F2s this was also the case in NCAA…but if they are the exact same type, does that make it POI? Or were these deemed a DTF (which I would disagree with)? Why did Gerry Pollard turn around? If it was just to look at the arrow, he committed a cardinal sin and paid for it. Never take your eyes off the players to turn and look at the arrow. Let a partner who is opposite the table and already facing the arrow do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It was a clear taunt (with the benefit of replay, of course). And I agree that what is said in any taunting scenario is irrelevant. |
2 Orange player T's and one on white.

So everyone is ignoring W11's elbow to the face and follow-up shove?
W4 is the one who received the T for White while W11 got off scot-free. |
