#1 seems a little soft but it did prevent the player from taking a line more toward the basket. Advantage gained.

I didn't think 1 was a foul. If it was then not in the act of shooting, and I also *gasp* thought he traveled before he shot.

I didn't think the shot in #2 was good in real time. Slo-Mo I think confirmed it but it's tough without the lights to be honest.

The foul caused the travel -- so the foul had to be called.

There was no foul or travel in #1. Bad call in my opinion.

He did travel after the bump. His right foot was the pivot foot when the dribble stopped and he put that foot back down after the bump. And it knocked off his RSBQ which is the standard for illegal contact. I think it was a great call. The only issue for me was if the shot would have been counted. But this was a two shot foul either way.

But Thomas Bryant completed a 3-point play with 2.6 seconds left in the Hoosiers' 63-62 win. The Wildcats have now dropped five of their past seven, with tough games remaining against Michigan and Purdue.
In both cases, the contact made did not give the defensive player a clear advantage, nor did it impede the offensive players' ability to make moves. Hopefully this is not an indication of how things will be called in the postseason.
Imagine if North Carolina committed some inadvertent bump at midcourt and Villanova shot free throws to win last year's title game instead of Kris Jenkins delivering a shot for the ages?
