T or no T? one point game

Video? Story? Level (more likely to be a T in HS than in NCAA)?

I'm calling the local news station if a crown finds its way onto the court without human assistance! ;)

Now, if a crowd storms the court, it will depend on the circumstances. Specifically, do they interfere with play? Was a timeout called?

Ah -- I thought Crown was the (nick-)name of a school.

I thought we were talking about the adult beverage.

Kidding aside... Probably have to have a T for this in HS ball, especially if the clock is running when said court-storming occurs, unless some mitigating circumstance is present.

I was going to change the thread title, but then NONE of this would make sense.

Yeah, that was my thought earlier until I noticed one of the moderators was part of the problem.

Funny this is brought up, I just had this happen in a rivalry game on Wednesday night.

Home team (Team A) down 3 and misses a shot, and fouls quickly (0.4 on clock). B6 and B7 rush the court, thinking time has expired. They make all the way to the kid with the ball, who is in the opposite corner of the court from their bench before realizing it, and sprint back off. Everyone in the gym sees it. We decided we had to go with a bench Tech, shot the 2 bonus shots, then the 2 tech FTs, and A actually was able to get a shot off with .4 left, but no dice.

Though it didn't end up mattering at all, we screwed up in that we didn't take the coaching box away from B's coach. In hindsight, had the prayer gone in and we went to OT, that would've made a difference. Oh well, noted for next time...

While I noted the typo (and I'm not a moderator), I did at least steer my comments back to the intended point.

What's the T for in HS?

Entering the court without the authorization of an official (or whatever the specific wording is) -- again, assuming "crown" is the name of a team (which was my assumption at the time I wrote this)
