You're right. I thought the call was on the other player.

And as you said, it wan't really a push.

I have no problem with the call. Might be a miss, but I can live with that call.

My biggest issue is with the jacka$$ on the end of the bench. Anyone who works with me knows that doesn't fly. you don't have to like calls as an assistant, but you will not act out...

That jacka$$ used to leave me a six pack every week when I was an undergrad student working as a golf cart attendent at the university golf course he frequented back in the day. So he's A-Ok with me.

I also have very little tolerance for demonstrative or chatty benches. But you have to ignore some of that at times at that level. This would be one of those times IMO.

As for the call I initially thought it was a huge miss and the call was on the defender closest to the basket. After rewatching it I see what the official thinks he saw and can certainly live with it.
