NCAA Shot Clock

I'm especially interested in NCAAW, but I think the NCAAM rule would be the same:

B1 shoots, misses and A gets the rebound. The shot clock is NOT reset and is at 25.

As the clock is winding down, A1 throws up a try that misses the ring. The shot clock horn sounds while (a) A2 gets the "rebound"; (b) B2 gets the "rebound"; (c) no one yet has the "rebound." The official blows the whistle and realizes (based on the game clock) that the shot-clock period should not have expired.

Ruling?

A) If you have definite knowledge fix the clock to the correct time
B) Ignore the horn and clock should reset
C) AP Throw in, if A retains the ball set the clock to what it should be at that point (this is the most cluster fudgy option of course)
