What was the C looking at? The initial shove happened right in front of him.

Easy for any of us to say sitting in our chairs at our computers.

Game situation -- we know that they're going to pressure in the backcourt and the losing team is likely going to foul quickly. Are my eyes going to follow those players down the court or are they going to help with the pressure in the backcourt?

True, but I think the first foul happens during rebounding action...if T or C get that this never happens.

The initial shove occurred in the middle of the paint. That is right in the middle of the C's PCA with a play at the basket and rebounding action to follow. That is not "following players down the court"...IMO that is "help with pressure in the backcourt."

I want to defend my brothers in stripes as much as I can, but I don't know how to defend the C on this. Not saying a whistle would have stopped the fight, but a foul on each of the players (white player clearly starts and dark comes back at him), might have.

Not an easy situation to be in.

The C missed it b/c there were two other players directly in his line of vision. It happens, we miss stuff.

I also don't see any foul on rebounding action but maybe I need to look again.
