Don't know how it happened, but had a remarkably effective spontaneous response to agitated coach who was getting blown out yesterday. He was looking for potential calls anywhere he could get them and actually wasn't being a jerk.

But about mid-4Q he complained about a non-5 second call a few moments earlier as we were shooting free throws. I was T and reminded him without taking my eyes off the players, just loudly enough for his assistant and a few guys on the bench to hear, "Yeah, but Coach, remember that I'm the only one starting the count from 1."

Awkward silence. Then a bit of recovery and he grudgingly says, "OK, but keep an eye on any travels out there ..." (or something to that effect).
