The Rule Citiaion of 10-1-5a & 10-1-5d & e

The NFHS should get these phantom citations out of their system.

Examples:

Current Part II test

A team may be issued a delay-of-game warning following a time-out for which of the following:
A. Water on the floor.
B. Interfering with the ball following a goal as in 10-1-5e.
C. Huddle by either team and contact with the free thrower, as in 10-1-5d.
D. All of the above.

10-1-5d & 10-1-5e don't exist, should be 10-2-1d & e

Case Book

2.4.4 SITUATION:

Following pregame warm-ups, Team A returns to its dressing room. The referee has each team notified three minutes before the game is *scheduled to begin. Despite this notification, Team A delays the start of the game for nearly two minutes by not returning to the court. The referee determines there is no excusable reason for Team A's tardiness.

RULING: Team A is charged with a technical foul for delaying the start of the game by a minute or more. (10-1-5a)

10-1-5a doesn't exist, should be 10-2-5

Don't be frustrated if you find a lot more editorial errors than that, especially in the casebook. When they "reorganized rule 10", they did not sufficiently update many of the casebook references that cite that rule by section number.
Not intending to sound critical, only reporting the way things turned out in this year's books.
