Ball foul?

This one has been discussed before: player uses the ball to displace opponent.
9:17 1st quarter Cavs vs. Bucks, LeBron grabs rebound, pushes opponent away using the ball, scores on the put-back. Is this a "foul ball?" Could someone please post?

There's a long standing debate on this, not really yet resolved. Some say it's a T or nothing (NFHS) since there's no contact between players. Others say it's an advantage not intended by the rules, so it should be called a foul.

Others still say the defender shouldn't let himself be pushed away by the ball. Just take the damned ball.

Not sure a good video illustration of this has ever been posted. This one would be excellent. Actually, the opponent had his back to LeBron and LBJ shoved him with the ball to get one (maybe two) steps closer to the hoop. Some may argue "block." Defender didn't have LGP 😀
