Dunking at halftime

If a player receives a technical foul for dunking at halftime does it go in the book as a personal and team foul? indirect on the head coach?

In HS when is a foul NOT a team foul. How does a coach get an indirect T?

No -- it goes in as a technical foul. It does count as one of the 5 TOTAL fouls a player is allowed before being disqualified.

The above is correct. Make sure the scorer understands this. Some scorers will make a mark in the list of personal fouls (in addition to the mark for the tech) just so they don't forget when the team member gets to five total fouls.

Notice how I said "team member" above and not "player." All team members are considered bench personnel during intermissions (to include halftime). Therefore yes, indirect to the coach and he/she loses the box.
