Yeah, but ...

Anything remarkable here from your official's set of eyes?

Rousing dunk

I got no foul. His momentum took him out of bounds trying to avoid the defender. I got a good no call on this one.

BTW, he was an amazing player in HS. Glad to see him having success.

Peace

I don't see a push, but the defender's arm did swing down on the shooter before he returns to the floor.

Not saying it's certainly a foul, just throwing the idea out there.

Fine...I'll say it.

I mean, it wouldn't be the basketball forum if nobody brought it up...

He travelled before the dribble.

If you want to be precise....

Twice. Then again when he picked up the dribble.

It is hard for a defender to guard a player who gets extra latitude in moving the feet.

Looks like the NCAA-M POE on travelling is working nicely.

They've always been there, and, given what I've seen so far this year, many of the officials are having no trouble identifying them and calling them.

That said, two of them in this video were really close and I wouldn't fault any official for not calling them. One was pretty obvious, however.

I'll be more certain -- this is not a foul.

I do recognize that HS games are called differently in different parts of the country -- and so this type of play might be a foul somewhere. But, in NCAA -- it hardly even raises an eyebrow.

I would not call this a foul. He was already going to the floor. The defender didn't put him there.

I am not calling that in a high school game at any level or anywhere. Players that play above the rim attack the basket like this often.

Peace

Looked like a 2 travels and then minor contact.

Travel before the drive.
Travel after the dribble.

I guess there are three travels:
Travel when he catches the pass.
Travel on the move to the basket - brutal.
Travel before the dunk.
