I got no foul. His momentum took him out of bounds trying to avoid the defender. I got a good no call on this one.
BTW, he was an amazing player in HS. Glad to see him having success. Peace

I don't see a push, but the defender's arm did swing down on the shooter before he returns to the floor.
Not saying it's certainly a foul, just throwing the idea out there. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk |

I do recognize that HS games are called differently in different parts of the country -- and so this type of play might be a foul somewhere. But, in NCAA -- it hardly even raises an eyebrow. |

Twice. Then again when he picked up the dribble. It is hard for a defender to guard a player who gets extra latitude in moving the feet.

Looks like the NCAA-M POE on travelling is working nicely.

They've always been there, and, given what I've seen so far this year, many of the officials are having no trouble identifying them and calling them. That said, two of them in this video were really close and I wouldn't fault any official for not calling them. One was pretty obvious, however.

Offsetting Penalties ??? ...
The travel to start the drive should have been called. There was a second travel, watch the pivot foot. And yes, the player's momentum did take him of bounds, but it was the contact that took him to the floor. Probably a foul in my high school game. I'll let you college guys call whatever you want in your college game, as this was. College stuff is definitely out of my wheelhouse.

I bet the college players or coaches don't expect this to be a foul.
