Need the R?
If a mistake has been made and the umpire is still on the floor at the end of the game he/she
a may determine the winning team and leave b must call the referee and start the OT period c may not correct the mistake because the referee has left the floor d may call the referee back to make the correction I am using 2-5-7 and will say d. Correct?

It's a very poor question -- we don't know what the result would be after the correction (OT or not). All we know for sure is that it's NOT "c".
I would agree that "d" is the best choice of the others.
