This call is tied for first as the worst call in the history of basketball...and i only say that because im sure there's others out there that are equally, stupid, horrendous...Right now i cant think of any worse than this....

LOL, I agree. I've watched this multiple times and it is still as cringeworthy as the first time I watched it. That coach deserves a lot of respect for not completely losing his damned mind too.

I hadn't thought of this. Both Rich AND the coach deserve credit for not following this guy to his car....

I haven't known anyone who has watched this video and did not come away thinking the new L was completely out of his mind (the most charitable explanation). I have to wonder, if he thinks he was in the right, has he had any official higher than weekend AAU level ball validate his opinion after seeing the video?

This video is the ultimate teaching tool to teach new officials why it's best to avoid calling out of your primary area.

Sorry, but this is nonsense.

Yes, this official looked like a buffoon and this call was disgraceful. No, the coach does not deserve any credit for not following him to his car.

You do realize that "following him to his car" was exaggeration, right?

That Coach absolutely deserves credit for keeping his cool in the face of this guys' ridiculous call and actions.

It didn't end up costing this coach the game or anything, like it could have. If it HAD, THEN I would give the coach credit for his calmness, had he been able to maintain it.
