Indeed. Once Nevada comes back from vacation (or wherever he is....haven't heard from him in a while), this conversation will become much more enlightening (entertaining?).

It does not have to come from him. We have several others here that love to tell us how clear the NF is in one breathe and then might tell us how wrong the NF is in the next breathe, while all at the same time telling us that anyone confused by language is totally wrong in our confusion of typical NF language. But such is life on this site.

Some things are clear, some things are not. Some people are just more easily confused.

Again, this just proves that the NF often usage language that confuses many people and even when it appears to be clear, it is confusing when you look at their body of work. This is just as confusing as the other situations we talk about that people like you say is so clear, when they have almost no support with other language to clarify what they should be done.

I agree that this one is confusing since it has apparent implications that were not announced as a change. That doesn't, however, mean than other things are automatically confusing too just because some people don't understand them.

Anyone know when the Kindle versions will be available??

Although I'm not working games anymore, I think that new rule 36-24-36 is a great one. This is the rule that requires the home coach to provide the officials with the name, phone number and location in the gym of all hot moms. ;)

Keep an eye on this page: http://www.nfhs.org/articles/rules-b...le-as-e-books/

Shouldn't be much more than a week or two, I'm guessing.

Again when the information is not clear, you leave it open to interpretation. You cannot tell me this proves that the NF makes clear statements on anything, when a situation is not covered specifically. This is just another example of what others say about the NF and their logic. But you will disagree and that is fine, but just this alone proves how confusing they can be.

The point that you're missing is that one unclear statement (or a few) doesn't mean everything is suspect and you can disregard anything you don't like.

I am not missing any point, I just feel the NF is often not very clear. And now we have another example of how their being unclear leaves it up to others to clarify a point that should not need clarifying. All they would have to do is suggest what they meant or change the language to reflect such information. This is not about liking something, this is about being confusing on more than one occasion. This is again just another example. Almost every year we talk about a situation where there is contradictory language that needs to be fixed.

Peace

You were only off by a day. the 2016-2017 Rule Book became available 15 days after you posted this.

Case book still not available electronically.
