Just wanted to know where I could get a plain, black referee's jacket in the San Francisco Bay Area, preferably between Oakland/Hayward. Checked all major sporting goods stores (Big5, Sportmart, Champs, etc) to no avail. Nothing fancy either - either the Sahara style or just plain Coach's button-up Jacket, no patch/embroidery needed. Just had a sense of urgency, so didn't want to order online...even though i know there are a lot of sites out there that have what i'm looking for. Just easier to come in and leave, ready-to-go since referees and players share the same locker room.

thanks

Check your local sporting goods stores.

Hey Chuck! You get hit on the head by some flying hurricane debris?

BTW, I don't think I've seen one of those Sahara jackets anywhere, in any dept store or sporting goods store. You're probably gonna have ot settle for a reasonable lookalike.

Oh... kinda disappointing...I was expecting something along the lines of not every area has a major dept store especially in very rural areas and he only listed 3 stores in the central east bay area but not every store is as big as Walmart which he clearly did not list and anyway if you don't like it this is a discussion forum so just don't read any posts you don't like (gotta stop here, outta breath....OK) and if you disagree with me why would you want to post a response but that's just me and that is not why I post here because I obviously have a life but then again you have your own opinion.

That is not very helpful. He said he already checked the local stores. He was unable to find anything there. Maybe you should answer the question the way I think is best. Because in my estimation, you have not answered his question at all. Why cannot you not just answer the question the way it is asked? You know I know everything, so what I suggest must be followed.

For those that do not have a sense of humor, it was a joke. It is called being facetious. But I admit it is not funny, just ironic.

Peace

A few years ago I ordered a black referee jacket directly from the NF. It has their logo embroidered on the lower left sleeve. However, I don't think they're selling direct anymore.
