First NBA basket ever

Here's a relatively short video highlighting the first basket ever made in the NBA (called the BAA at that time).

In my short time on this forum I have noticed that his remarks are often the most caustic. I loved the video, especially now that activity on the forum has lessened since the season ended.

The NFHS breaks out the 2016-17 basketball rule changes, and points of emphasis, in a few weeks. They'll be plenty to discuss then.

I thought it was funny, my apologies if it was offensive.

I enjoyed the video.

No need to apologize and while I was not offended. I just wanted to know why you were being so snarky about a historic item in our great game of basketball.

Poor sense of humor, I suppose.

What if I click my ruby slippers together three times and say, "No more jump balls"? Wait? I'm being told ... No place like home? Who? Dorothy? Where? Kansas? Never mind.

Also. Mark T. DeNucci, Sr. Shut up.

I would be satisfied if they would just rewrite the backcourt rule to match NCAA. But that's too simple for FED, I suppose.

Billy:

There is no place like home. My mom was Kansas born and raised. Kansas Class of 1942. When Mark, Jr., and Andy each were learning to talk and we were teaching them how to say mommy, daddy, grandma, and grandpa, my mom taught them how to say: Rock Chalk Jay Hawk Kaaaay Uuuuu!
