Illinois Half Court Buzzer Beater
On Friday night in a 2A Semi Final a team won the game on a half court buzzer beater. Question here is did he get it off in time. Illinois does not use replay to determine if a shot should count. If someone wants to embed the video go right ahead. Link is below

I think he got it off, but I'd say it was with less then 0.1 remaining. We're talking 1/100ths of a second here. That's about as close as it can get.
I'm assuming this facility had monitor capability. I don't understand states that refuse to take advantage of this provision for a state tournament series game when the facility has the capability. There's a lot on the line. |
