Yes, that is a missed BI call.

Too many people believe that this doesn't warrant a whistle, but I would ask them if a defensive player did this and the ball didn't go in would they call it.

It shouldn't be any different for the offense.

That is a throw-in violation, but the new Trail isn't even looking.

The Trail is looking right at it. We're looking at it in slow-motion, in real speed the violation is not as obvious.

I need to clarify. He isn't looking at the player's feet. He is looking above the waist.

I agree that both violations were missed.

Should the BI rule be changed so this isn't a violation by the offense? they didn't really benefit from it.
