Intentional Foul

Travel tournament in 7th grade division that plays by high school rules. 14A is mad that he had a charge called on him and takes it out on a player from the opposing team. He takes off from about 20 feet in a sprint and runs into 21B and throws a forearm in the process. My question is what is the appropriate call? I went with intentional foul and ejection. He is obviously ejected, but I did not know if this should have been a technical then ejection.

Sounds like you actually called a flagrant foul. Intentional fouls don't carry an ejection penalty.

Did that happen during a live ball or a dead ball? That tells you whether it's personal or technical. Either way, it's flagrant and A14 is disqualified.

+1. You got the most important part right, which is the much-deserved disqualification.

But the personal/technical distinction is important because it impacts free-throw shooter eligibility and where OOB play is ultimately resumed from.
