Why do players refuse to stop playing and give up the ball after the whistle is clearly blown? While this was properly called, Grayson shares some responsibility for catching that elbow. If he had stopped playing on the whistle, it would have never happened.

Agreed. Looks to me like Grayson contacts the Louisville player in the head twice after the whistle in an effort to wrestle the ball away.
