...climbed into the car yesterday, and I can't seem to shake it. I was wearing the official stuff (except for the stripes), listening to the CD I always listen to when I'm headed to a game, and thinking about basketball, because of a project I'm working on, and it hit me complete with DT's and everything. This board is boring!, I got no games in sight until November, and my innards are screaming --- HELP!!! The March Madness tapes just don't cut it, the WNBA playoffs are on cable, which I don't have, and I just can't hide it anymore -- (breaking into song) I've got a basketball jones, oooh baby, oooh, oooh....

I have a suggestion for ya!!

Take up another sport. That helps get your mind off of basketball (or your favorite sport) for the time being. I feel the same way about basketball, but football occupies my time until the basketball season comes. It also helps you become a better official doing other sports as well. Peace |

I AM doing volleyball, and it's nice -- and it pays better -- but it's just not the same. "Had a little talk with God" about this, and I suppose, "I Will Survive", but "It's Hard, Yes it's hard, Ain't It Hard."
Meantime, I'm living for the days of "Whoop, There It Is". |
