Last second shot

NFHS Rules: With three seconds to go in the fourth period, A1 shoots the ball from team A's back court. The shot bounces from inside the lane hits the rim bounces again and as time expires the the ball goes through the goal. Would you count this or does the ball become dead when the horn sounds to end the game.

Ball did not go in the basket on a shot, so you have to not allow the basket.

Peace

ask yourself:
When does the ball become dead with respect the end of the period?
When does the try end?

Answer those two questions, and you'll know the answer to your question.

A nearly exact play is in the case book. JRut has it right.
