I know better than to disagree with Bob. Can you explain why you feel the first is a block?

On the first one, I have a PC foul. The push off is rather clear in the replay. Might not have been as clear on the live angle the Lead had, but I think that is pretty obvious to me.

Agreed. One the 2nd play I have the defender illegally contacting the ball-handler prior to any push off.

But on the first one its a rather obvious, with the benefit of replay, PC. The ball handler initiates the contact by extending his forearm and displacing the defender.

Both are blocks. The 2nd one is an obvious foul on the defense beginning with the hand check.

In the first one the B1 moves into A1.

On 2nd play, I don't think the official called a block, but a handcheck...looks like (on my small screen) he gives a very fast handcheck signal before pointing at the spot where the handcheck happened. Anyone with better resolution able to confirm that?

yes, and if you stop it at 8 seconds, it looks like black's head and shoulders are (enough) past white.
