Again, instead of fretting about it, either make up your own interpretation or ask your leaders what they think. You're not going to get a new answer here.

Silly NFHS monkeys.

I really would like to see if you pay as much loving attention to your play calling as you do the uniform rules. Really I would.

Correct. "Predominate color of uniform".

It used to say shorts.

What's a uniform? Jersey? Shorts? Both?

Bye Bye Compression Shorts.

I'm not looking for an answer on the Forum. Without a clarification from the NFHS it's impossible for us to interpret what they want in regard to color limitations for compression shorts.

This is how I presently interpret it:

On my own, if it allows the kid to play, he's playing, whether it involves me calling them tights/sleeves (black, white, beige, jersey color, all the same, for all players), or if it involves me calling them compression shorts and going with either the jersey color, or the shorts color. I'm pretty strict about fashion issues but without further clarification from the NFHS (what's uniform color, what's the difference between leg sleeves, tights, or compression shorts) I'm on the side of the fence that let's the kid play with anything that can be liberally interpreted as NFHS legal.
