basket interference on ft
 
so on this play, and let's just pretend it was on the rim, say it was USA High school basketball so no FIBA rules issue. Second ft, would it be worth one or two points? So second ft, ball bouncing on rim with chance to go in and defensive player dunks it in.

Why do you think the penalty would be for MORE than the original shot was worth?

When is the ball dead? When you have a violation so the basket won't count.

In FIBA, "your" goal is the one you defend, like in American football.

In HS it'd be count 1 for interference, and if that was missed it was a violation for running in early.

Count it or re-shoot the same shot.
