Sub legal or has to wait
 
Team A shooting foul shots, A1 is subbed out after 1st shot, coach puts A1 at table to sub back in after 2nd to set up press on make. Enter or has to wait for clock to start before entering? Or has to sub different players after 1st and 2nd shot if made?

He cannot come back into game until clock has run.

3-3-4 . . . A player who has been replaced, or directed to leave the game shall not re-enter before the next opportunity to substitute after the clock has been started properly following his/her replacement.

Not sure about other levels. I think NBA is opposite that. Others will confirm one way or the other.
